What is the purpose of processing your data?

We process your data in order to manage your economic collaboration with the Foundation and to maintain, develop and control the relationship that may be established between the two parties, complying with legal obligations and occasionally sending communications to express gratitude and provide information about initiatives, activities and events of interest undertaken by Fundació Familiar Catalana.

Time periods and criteria used for storing data:

Any personal data provided will be kept and processed for as long as is necessary to use them for the purpose for which they were collected and in accordance with the legal basis for their processing in compliance with the applicable law.

We will keep your personal data while there is still a continuing relationship and so long as you do not exercise your right to suppression, erasure and/or limitation of your data. In these cases, we will block your data, making no use of them, although it may be necessary to recover them in order to make or defend claims or to deal with any judicial, legal or contractual responsibility that requires a response.

What legitimisation is there for processing your data?

The legal basis for processing your personal data is as follows:

  • The consent of the data subject.
  • Compliance with various legal obligations.
  • Compliance with the contractual or conventional relationship with collaborators.
  • For legitimate purposes including, for example, security reasons, managing queries and requests or communicating gratitude.
  • With your consent, to send information about the Foundation.

This additional information, which is made available at the time your data is collected, gives full information about the conditions of processing in accordance with the European Regulation on Data Protection, meaning that submitting your request implies a clear affirmative action of consent, thereby complying with the consent requirements detailed in the aforementioned regulation.

What responsibility do you have regarding your personal data?

Data subjects are responsible for ensuring that the information provided through this website is correct. To this end, data subjects are responsible for the truthfulness of all data communicated and for keeping the information provided properly updated to reflect the current situation. Data subjects are liable for any false or inaccurate information provided and for any consequent damages caused to Fundació Familiar Catalana or to third parties.

What responsibility do you have in respect of the processing of third party data?

If the personal data of a third party has been provided, the responsibility lies exclusively with whoever obtained prior consent from that person for his or her data to be processed by us, having previously advised them of everything covered by Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

To which recipients will your data be communicated?

Data will not be assigned to third parties unless they are collaborators associated with FUNDACIÓ FAMILIAR CATALANA, service suppliers that provide services in our name or to comply with a legal obligation.

Data assigned to entities associated with the Foundation will be transferred for the purpose of being able to share the data needed for the correct provision of the service.

The information that you provide us with both through this website and through the application will be hosted on servers owned by FUNDACIÓ FAMILIAR CATALANA.

Your data will be communicated to other public authorities and bodies in the exercise of powers that are indistinct from those of FUNDACIÓ FAMILIAR CATALANA and that are compatible with the purpose of the processing or those required under legal obligation.

Only the data that is strictly necessary will be communicated to the bank that processes the economic transfer in each case.

It is not anticipated that your data will be subject to an international transfer. However, in legal terms, transferring data within the countries of the European Union is not considered to be an international transfer.

FUNDACIÓ FAMILIAR CATALANA has signed an appropriate contract or binding legal document with the data processors which establishes the conditions and guarantees required to comply with the provisions of Article 28 of the GDPR.

What are your rights regarding the processing of your data?

  1. You have the following rights:

    • Right to request access to your personal data.
    • Right to request their rectification or erasure.
    • Right to request a limitation on their processing.
    • Right to object to their processing.
    • Right to the portability of your data.
    • Right to withdraw the consent granted.

    Access/rectification and erasure: data subjects have the right of access to their personal data, to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, to request their erasure when, among other reasons, the data are no longer needed for executing the contract

    Limitation: in certain circumstances, data subjects can request a limitation on the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep them for making claims or defending ourselves against them.

    Objection: data subjects can object to their data being processed. FUNDACIÓ FAMILIAR CATALANA will stop processing the data, except for legitimate or absolutely imperative reasons, or in the defence of potential claims, and we will keep them duly blocked during the corresponding period during which legal obligations continue to apply.

    Equally, data subjects have the right to object to the adopting of automated individual decisions that could have legal consequences or affect them significantly.

    Portability: data subjects can request and receive the data that concerns them and which they have provided us with or request that we send them on to another data controller of their choice in a commonly used structured format that is machine readable.

  2. When will we respond to your enquiry?

    We will respond to your enquiries as quickly as possible and, in all cases, within one month of receiving your request. This period could be extended by a further two months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. The person in charge will inform the interested party of the extension within the first month of having received the request.

  3. Do you have the right to withdraw your consent?

    Data subjects can withdraw the consent granted at any time, without affecting the legality of any processing based on the consent given at the time they subscribed or provided their data.

  4. Who should you contact in order to exercise your rights?
